Wireless devices are being established as a standard means of communication
and will be increasingly relied upon in the future. The initial (1G) and (2G) iterations of mobile
telephony were intended primarily for voice transmission and (3G) is currently serving both voice
and data applications. As technology develops, 4G will bring true multimedia capabilities to our world
such as high-speed data access and video conferencing to handsets. These capabilities will lead to a new
evolution of wireless devices that give amazing functionality to the general public at large. Plus,
topics of Crisis-Management Applications, Tele-Medicine, Virtual Navigation and Telegeoprocessing will
emerge as wireless technologies develop. At Ingenium Testing we are committed to the future and are in
the process of actively expanding our wireless test capabilities to focus on: Antenna Pattern Measurement,
WiFi, WiMax, Bluetooth, ZigBee and CTIA. Capabilities pending Fall 2008.
